Synopsis

Granulosis rubra nasi is a rare, benign condition that presents with multiple asymptomatic, 2- to 3-mm, skin-colored or erythematous papules on or around the nose. Granulosis rubra nasi may be associated with hyperhidrosis and is considered a disorder of the eccrine glands. It typically presents in the pediatric population between the ages of 6 months and 15 years. The peak onset is estimated to be between 7 and 12 years.  Familial cases have been reported in an autosomal dominant pattern. It typically spontaneously resolves around puberty. However, adult onset has been reported.
